Garden railroading is simply a hobby similar to stamp collecting, scrapbooking, bird watching, or any activity you may enjoy. It will bring out the creative side of you as you learn and enjoy some of the technical aspects of setting up and running a railroad.

Friendships

Garden railroading offers many opportunities to meet people. To a novice, simply learning from books, magazines, or online resources usually isn't enough. Joining a local club gives you additional resources for just about every aspect of your railroad.

Rewards

When we look at our garden railroads, we each see different things. We can let our imaginations run wild with our scenery and railroads. Our gardens add to the peacefulness with the company of our local squirrels, dragonflies, ladybugs, butterflies, and a variety of birds.
